Brookelynn Warner, a 2024 Hemingford High School graduate, was announced as the recipient of the Aspiring Youth in Ag Scholarship. Warner will receive $1,000 per year for two years. The alternate was Jayda Meyring, a 2023 graduate of Alliance High School.
The donors in Hemingford and the surrounding areas came out in force on May 8 and sent back 45 units of blood to be used in local hospitals. The cots were full until 10:30 a.m. at which time employees of local businesses were able to walk-in without much wait time.
